Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. You will diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, install and configure computer systems, and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Duties: - Provide technical support to end-users for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other peripherals - Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows and Mac OS) and software applications - Set up new user accounts and profiles and assist with password resets - Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed - Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses - Collaborate with the IT team to analyze and remedy system malfunctions or performance issues - Assist in the implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding data security Requirements: - Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role - Solid knowledge of IT support principles and practices - Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues - Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and basic understanding of IT infrastructure components - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users - Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
